About Founder:

“PRAJAPATHI” is a mass media evangelistic drama which portrays the life story and history of beloved Jesus Christ. The theater is a “dream come true” venture of Chennai based AP Fellowship. The 180 minutes live drama cum musical is performed by 120 artists who are the devoted members of APF.
The Birth of Prajapathi:
Prajapathi is fulfillment of Dr. B. Rubert Raghunathan, a government employee at Electricity board who resigned his employment in the year 1984 to commit himself to whole time ministry. APF was thus formed by Rubert Couple in the year 1987. Dr. Rubert, the artist cum evangelist is essentially a musician, performer, script writer and a trained theatre person. Having witnessed various theatres on life of Christ, Mr. Rubert always felt the quality was compromised and dialogues were not people friendly. By virtue of being an artist, he has leveraged the art to promulgate the life and words of Christ to the people. This steered to the idea of scripting Prajapathi but the road to stage Prajapathi was not easy journey. After fronting immense interruptions and quandaries the drama was first staged in the year 2000 and had a flourishing voyage since then with the grace and blessings of god. Till date Prajapathi has been performed in 50 plus stages and was widely acclaimed by audiences. Currently the drama is been performed in multi languages across India.
